Backroads Basketball was inspired through my love and passion for the beautiful game of Basketball. My goal is to bring this unique history into focus for all basketball fans and highlight the unique history of the game in Texas with quality photos, personal stories and basketball related events This will be a celebration of the past and a look to the future of basketball in the Lone Star State.
I have been fortunate to travel this great state to visit first hand some of the most nostalgic, historic and unique gyms Texas has to offer, from the High Plains to the Gulf Coast or from way out West to the Piney Woods of East Texas. If you know of a gym I need to visit, drop me a line!
